I'm also breeding Kribs in another tank.
I've had a male for a while... within days of adding a female, they staked out a coconut shell, and set up shop. She was in the shell for days, and the male was guarding the outside from potential intruders.
As of this morning, she's all over the tank.. both parents are no where near the shell. I've read that sometimes the fry will still appear....
Do you think they're gone? Do you think that maybe I should leave a light on in the room so the Kribs can defend their territory better? Could the eggs have fungused, or been eaten.. fry/wigglers eaten by the parents? The male would go in and out of the shell yesterday... or could this be chalked up to a learning experience for the first spawn.
The whole process is amazing to watch.. I love these fish....
