i have all but shrimp and would like to add this/these. Who do shrimp not get on with/who doesn't get on with shrimp? I dont want to just go and buy an expensive meal for my tank put it that way!!!!

sorry, 90 litrewhat? do you mean 90 gallons? I don't think you could physically fit all the fish you're talking about in a 90 liter tank... it's just not possible... especially considering your syno cat is 9" long.

90 liters boils down to about 22 gallons... seriously, if it's that big, there must not be much moving room.... I hope you're messing up and mean 90 gallons... but even if you do, I think it's overstocked.

you need to get rid of all your fish and start over, unless you are going to get a 200 gallon tank to hold the balas (silver sharks), angels and plecos. they all get way to big for that tank, and the angels WILL get territorail since there are so many fish in there and it is such a small space. they'll get even more terretorial if a breeding pair forms. you need to return some fish or get a new tank that is WAY bigger

could you give us the dimesions of the tank? If you accidentally posted 90 liters and you meant 90 gallons, it's still overstocked, but all you need to get rid of are the silvers sharks and one of the plecos, and you'll be fine. the reason I think that you meant 90 gallons is because I don't see how anyone could fit that many fish in a tank that small. they must smack into each other every time they try to swim>

ha ha get rid!
like my mate did, which is how i ended up with them. They'd all be floating around the UK sewers now if i hadn't have taken them. its 3ft x 2 ft x 1&1/2 ft. I will be going for a 5ft x 2 ft x 2ft after christmas unless my fortunes change prior to then.

i honestly dont see what is so funny about releasing fish into local water ways. it is punishable by law in most areas. even at that size of tank yu are not going to have neough room for all of the fish

you dont need to yell. i was only making a point. and if you do not believe that a tropical species of animal can live in 14 degree weater (celcius or feranheit) then you are very wrong. in Chicago we have Quaker Parakeets from SOUTH AMERICA that were released by animal rights extemists and careless owners that thought they could trust their pet on their shoulder outside. well anyway, now there is a breeding colony in CHicago, and they survive our winters, where we get feet of snow and temps under 0 at night.
there are also tropical fish like snakeheads that live in some shallow lakes that have becom dead with other life because of them.

if you did mean celcius, then that is still pretty warm, and tropical fish could survive.

but that still doesnt change the fact that you need to get a new tank that is over 600 litres ASAP, or you should take all of your fish to your local fish store and get store credit for them and use it to buy some smaller fish

yes i know that, but still, some fish like livebearers, killies, goldfish etc. are hardy, and reproduce prolifically, or they can scatter their eggs and the eggs wont hatch until later in the year.

Please bare in mind that the temperatures will be dropping to zero and sometimes below between november and march.

May not be exactly what you have, but most likely candidate in my opinion.

Whatever you have isn't a true upside down cat, so if you got a syno for upside down cat price, congrats.

hmmm mine is much darker, almost black with brown spots on its fins.
