I am not sure what changed but I have been getting zeros for Ammonia/Nitrite and Nitrate for 23 days after I recycled the tank.
last night I saw some ammonia register for the first time - about .2 (slightly green)- did the water change, left the water level a little lower for more splash, added some fresh carbon.
This morning holy cow do I have Nitrate -- where did they come from .. I never saw Nitrite??

Nitrite 0
Nitrate 10 - yeah!!
Three guppies seem happy and healthy!
