Bala not being very nice

I have a 125 Gallon tank with two balas an albino rainbow shark and a tiger barb, the raibow shark is the undisputed king of the tank, but his title may be challenged soon. The tiger barb usually chases around the smaller bala, (hes only about 4 inches) and tries to nip him, so the smaller bala decided to run to the bigger bala for help, the barb came rushing in and the smaller bala ran away, the barb then nipped at the bigger bala, then the bigger bala (about 7-8 inches) unleashed a charge at the barb, needless to say the barb ran away, should i seperate the the barb from the rest of my fish, i have a spare 30g that may be able to fit him and a couple other barbs
One Tiger Barb alone will be a troublemaker. Most people, myself included, have found that 6 of them is a minimum. Then they keep to themselves.

In a tank that size you should get at least 12 tiger barbs and they should be fine.
FYI: bala sharks are shoaling fish and should be kept in a group size of 5 at minimum to feel secure. They also will get way to large to be kept in a 125 gallon aquarium.
