Hi everyone!

As you probably know from my name I love Cories. I have 4 Three-Striped, 3 Bronze, and 2 Peppered. Other then those three species, I'm wandering what other species of Cories would you recomend, that are relitively hardy and pretty(I don't have to say cute because they are all soooo cute).

Definatly Albinos. Smaller then most and very fun to watch playing around with thier buddies.

I'd suggest a group of 3 or more Albinos, but you'll notice when you put the albinos in the tank with your other corys they don't discriminate, they love everyone =p

They can be albino strains of either bronze (aeneus) or peppered (paleateus).

What size tank(s) do you have Cory Lover? All of the types you listed get pretty large, you may not have enough space for more to live happily.

Hi Webcricket,

My tank is a 54 gallon semi-agressive. Even though its a semi-agressive tank, all my other fish like the little Cories and don't pick on them at all. I know with all my other fish in my tank, that my tank is a little full, thats why two Angelfish and one Convict are going to the pet store soon.

Any other Cories would you guys recomend?

Ever checked here?

They have a great listing of cories, it just comes down to what you can find locally or are willing to order and have shipped to you.

The Sterbai are nice and pretty. Pandas are irresistable, but they are on the smaller side of things.

After visiting about 10 fish stores in my area looking for cory cats, I have come to the conclusion that the emerald green cory cats are the best looking..I bought 3 the other day..Since they look so good, I plan to get some more..Anyway, they are very attractive cories..I would not get the other ones with the fancy designs..

my favorite are panda cories. everyone has different taste in fish so i think its probably best to just look at one of those sights that everyone listed above and see what one(s) you like the most.

Now you have to figure out if what you bought is a cory - many times these fish sold as "emerald green cory" are, in fact, Brochis splendens, which looks similiar to a cory, but is not a corydoras at all.

Do your fish look like this (brochis spendens - Emerald Catfish)?

Or this (corydoras aeneus - Bronze Cory)?

Take notice of the dorsal finnage (count the rays on your fish), the tail shape, and the body shape. I bought fish sold as emerald green cories at Petco, and they turned out to be Bronze cories. I have on more than one occasion seen brochis spendens and corydoras aeneus mixed in the same tank all being sold as emerald green cories.

Yea, i know they are Brochis splendens..Their common name is green cory cats..They look like cory cats and they are very similiar, so what is your point?I should not have put this here? The green cory cat is this fish that I am talking about:
