Just wondering if anyone has ever built a tank of there own, How hard it would be, and is it even possible?

Yes, kinda. If you are the type of person that cannot do any sort of diy project, then a tank isn't a good choice either.
Note that almost any store that sells plywood will cut it for a small fee ( $.050 per cut is typical ), so you don't need a fancy saw. Give them a list of sizes, and how you want the pieces cut out of a sheet ( and remember that a saw cut takes up about 1/8" of material). Especially if you're buying from a "big box" store, let them know that you will not accept any mis-cut pieces.
