Like, you could get a half of a barrel and put plastic lining in it and gravel and you can keep that as an outdoor pond for like Do you think that would work??? oh and i live in right on the coast in australia so it doesnt snow the coldest it gets is like 8- 13 degrees at night in winter and about 30 degrees average in summer at day time but we do have some heat waves like maybe high 30's for like a day or two about 3 or 4 times a year in summer so its a temperate zone
ps its all in Celsius they dont teach Fahrenheit here any more xD
 
Yes it should work... with proper water changes, a nice biologic filter (if you plan to have a few fish), a fountain, and the right plants. GO for it! Your climate should not be a problem (8C ~46F: 30C~mid 8o'sF). GOODLUCK-JEFF
