So I got a really good deal no an amp I was looking for...

Besides being very uninformative, the seller took very long to answer to some questions. I won the item, and I asked him to give me the shipping price, so I can go ahead and pay him...

2 days later, he finally responded. Shipping was quite high, but still a good deal, considering.

This was last Wednesday. I asked him if he can send me info on the shipping carrier, and if a tracking number can be obtained.

He wrote back on the Friday, saying he would let me know by Monday.

I wrote to him Monday night, politely asking if he had a chance to ship the amp... no response.
Same for yesterday, and today I'm still waiting.

I know it's just a few days, but man, what does it take to reply to a simple question!!!

How long would you wait before writing back to him in a not so friendly tone?

how much feedback does he have and whats his rating? if no response, i would take this to ebay or paypal. if you wait too long, they won't help you refund your money.

I'd say give it 10 days from auction end...which looks to be tomorrow if it was 2 days last Wednesday that the item ended. Don't leave negative feedback until you have it settled. And if you paid through Pay Pal and want to dispute the item, be careful - Pay Pal charges a "hidden" fee of $10 and up to dispute on your behalf (learned that the hard way disputing a $4 item, bleh).

Thanks for the info.. Didn't know about paypal's "hidden" fees!!..

I was looking through the ebay payment info he provided, and he put his full address including telephone number on it.

I might just drop him a line if I don't get any news by Friday...

For a second I thought this guy might be a power seller *ugh*.

Ya give it 10 days. I'd also check the feedback that he's left for others, and were these positives really ++ or just green neutrals.

Be warned, if you leave a - then you'll probably get one in return. I've already 'sniped' feedback. *Left a neg at the last possible moment I could before time ran out. 3 months if I remember correct. lol

I'll need to keep that in mind! I've never left a negative for fear of getting one in return.

I heard about the time period as well . . just gotta figure out what it is. Good thing about getting a neg. feedback now is that you can answer to the feedback, explaining your side of the story...

I'd probably call the guy if you don't get it by tomorrow. Wait, he didn't give you tracking info?? That's annoying. Anyway, yeah, I'd call him before leaving neg feedback. A lot of sellers are just slow. They're not power sellers, it's just a side cash making thing so they're lazy about shipping etc...
