Please help decorating my tank!

Ok, I'm stuck on wether to put this topic on DIY and products or General Freshwater (don't ban me for this :bowing: )...

I'm getting REALLY jeolous of how people are decorating their tanks with real plants and how cool it looks and stuff... and all I have are fake plants... I'm going to get *maybe* more than 1 REAL plant... Can someone rearrange my fake plants so it sort've.. cooperates with my real plant (looks nice in the same tank)...?

I'll post a brief blueprint of my tank and all you have to do is just rearrange my stuff!
Later, I'll post my real tank and you can re-rearrange the stuff you suggested me to do.
I'll rearrange the tank AS SOON AS POSSIBLE, meaning as soon as the ick in my tank is gone.

I think I would spread it out more evenly instead of having it all on one side of the tank.

Can you try to make a blueprint with MS paint or something? The problem is that I don't want the small plants in the back (big ones will overlap them..) and I'm a GIANT newbie at decorating... I'll try to get my tank's pic.

do yourself a favor and get real plants instead, because you will just replace the plastic stuff soon or later with the real thing anyway. That way you save a few bucks on fake plants.

Get some java fern/anubias, very easy to keep.

EDIT: guess i need learn to read, sorry didnt saw your whole post. But yeah replace all the fake plants with real ones.

I know.... But then where will I put the REAL plants :p:
Will adding plants change the water? I mean, will it stress the fish?
How do you put in plants? In my LFS, their roots are in some mini pot thing but do I just bury the pot thing under the gravel? Besides... I only have like, 2 cm of gravel (yeah, I need more.. Which is why I use fake plants..). Tell me EVERYTHING about freshwater plants, like how to trim them and should I put in those plant supplements.. Can I put in plants during the ick treatment?

My glolite tetra's head is pointing upwards, I dunno about gaping but he keeps opening and closing her mouth... should I oxygenate the water? I mean, the other fish are ok... And I don't have a tube for my air thing... Or should I use the gravel siphon... hmm...

Btw, I got some BAD pics on my tank. I use non flash to not stress the fish, but I gave up and used flash... What happens to my fish now?

*NOTE* I have bright light... Java stuff need low light...
And when there's bright light, it says it "burns" and makes transparent patches...

BUT i'm planning to get some java moss AND java fern... Maybe some other easy stuff...
But I dunno if my LFS has the java stuff..... I actually have 2 LFS..
