Fake Ich??

Anyways, one of the new neon tetras I got last Saturday has a white spot that looks like a regular ich spot but smaller on his top dorsal fin. At first I thought it was a ich spot so I started bumping up the temperature to 86 degrees. Since there was only one fish with the spot, and it was pretty small (about the size of a period on a computer screen) I was going for heat only treatment.

It has been at 86 degrees for about 4 days which is supposed to be enough time for the ich to complete one cycle at this temperature, but the spot hasn't disappeared. But it also hasn't spread to any of the other fishes or the other parts of his body, so I'm wondering if it could just be a natural discoloration? One of the other tetras has a white line on his pectoral fin with the same color.

The tetra isn't showing any sign of stress like flashing or sitting alone in a corner, and he's still eating well. I'm really confused about this spot. If it's not ich, I'd really like to lower the temperature down back to a sane 79 degrees.
