I have a 10 gallon tank which has two guppies(male) and 4 neon tetras(2 died when i introduced them to the tank) so my question is would it be possilbe to restock to 6 neon tetras and add a platie(male) its mildly planted but im hoping to get my hands on quite a lot of java moss soon and do a moss wall just( just in case you needed to know anything about the plants in the tank)

awesome thank you very much oh and just another similer question same tank set up(this is for a different tank xD) but no platy or guppies so the same plants and number of tetras just instead of the guppes and platy i have 2 dwraf Gouramis still work?

From a bioload standpoint I would do it. Some may disagree, but that happens around here.... :)

I would only do one Dwarf Gourami though, because a 10g isn't much territory. Unless you guys are able to get female Dwarf Gouramis in Australia, you may have problems keeping two male in close quarters. We have a very hard time finding females here in the USA. (Gourami females, that is - LOL!)

lol actually i can get some many different types of Dwarf Gouramis lol (about the only thing) So one male and one female Right or do you mean 2 females or either option?sorry about so many question swear this will be the last one LOL

Right. I'd go a male/female pair, or two females. A lot of people have had luck with 2 males, especially in the drarf varieties. Others haven't fared as well...

Oh, I hope not! :)

If you ask a question, and the answer leads to another question, nobody here has any problem with that at all. As Marinemom said, it's why we're here.

It's when trolls, er, people ask a question, then argue the answer because they don't like the answer, then ask again, then start another thread with the same question re-worded.... Well, patience wears thin, you know? LOL
