Why does my 75 gallon stink when there is only one fish in the tank with two plecos.The only fish a reddevil.
Well how often are you doing water changes and what size of water changes are you doing?
those are very messy fish and can easily foul up water. 2 plecos would mean a minimum of 2 50% changes a week for me. At least 1 50% change would be needed to kep foul smelling water at bay.
And what do you feed your fish?

hmmm...mine used to smell as well i just change carbon more often that does the job for me and i have about 15 fish in a 100 gal but my filter is rated for 200gal......how big is ur filter?

Carbon just gets rid of the smell, it doesn't fix the cause. Usually caused by not enough water changes, overfeeding, and/or dirty filters. If you do enough water changes, do not overfeed, and make sure filters don't get too dirty, you won't have stinky water.
