Hey guys i am getting worried, i have know my tank since i finsihed stocking it to be full on life and activity but over the last week it has become dead? what i meen is my cories have stop moving (but still go crazy when its eating time) my 2 skirts have stoped all there swimming and fighting (they just hide) and my tetras just hide all day in their one spot. o ya and my cories are VERY scared when i walk up to the tank.

I do not understand why all my fish have takin such a personality change??

I will be getting a test kit on sunday........so i will be able to post the water pers then but does anyone have an idea of why this has happened?

Thanks guys

Corys do become more lazy as they settle in, but the fact that all your fish are having problems indicates it probably isn't that. Test your water and do water changes. Your painted tetras might be feeling poorly due to the procedure that they underwent to get their color.

I have to go along with that suggestion - when in doubt, siphon it out.

There may not be anything wrong with the water, but changing is never a bad thing.

A good water change seems to get everybody moving again. I second that for a water change.

I beleive it may be due to the fact that you have too few cories, and they are lonely for more. you should get 3-4 more. and as for the skirt tetras... you either have too few or they are dying from the after effects of the dying process. as capndan said, try doing a WC and see if that helps.

Huh???dying from the after affects of the dying process ;)

when in doubt do a WC
you need to find out what the parameters are. but the first thing to do when you have an imbalance in the tank ie high ammonia, nitrites or nitrates..
change some water

Probably because of the typo.
