Winter is approaching and I want my DP to be happy through it. I have no need to add heaters yet but I want to get one early so I can drop it in when need.

I was looking at this one, but I don't think it is adjustable.

Would I be better off getting a 25 watt? I don't want to cook my fish!

It's not adjustable, I bought one and ended up returning it once I looked at it. I use the 25 watt Hydor Theo in my 2 gallon (only $5 more) and it's been reliable so far:

I actually got it from Drs. Foster & Smith since I could not find a 25 watt locally.

Edited: Should add that the Hydor Theo is 7"...Marineland Neptune also has a 25 watt, but that is an inch or two larger.

I'll probably just go with a visitherm stealth 25 watt then, I like it better than my theo (the dial on my theo is way off like 8-10 degrees!)

Thanks!
