I bought some blue mushrooms from a store and very next day when these opened a little more than i bought these ,Mushrooms lost their colour !
did i purchase some wrong ones or i have waisted my money or is it some normal phenomena?

its all about how you acclimatise mushrooms how they will act afterwards because a few days ago i bought some new live rock for another tank & on 1 piece of live rock i noticed a big purple mushroom so i bought it he said it would be fine out of water & then just thrown into the tank when i get back cause there as good as bomb proof witch i kinda agree with but the day after i bought it it fully open & it was a lighter clearer purple than it was when it was happy in the water at the store so the question is did you acclimatise the mushrooms over a good period of time?
when they lose colour its a sign you upset it but over time given good water quality it will go back to the original colour month by month
