having a problem with my cichlids

I need some serious help. I bought 5 ccichlids about three weeks ago. Two of them have died and a third has this nasty stuff growing on her. I have no idea what to do. I'm very new at this & I don't want anymore of my fish to die. PLEASE HELP ME SOMEONE!!!!

First of all, welcome to Aquaria Central. O.K. what kind of cichlds do you have? How big is the tank? Is the tank cycled? How long has the tank been up and running? Have you tested the water for ammonia,nitrite, and nitrate? Can you test the water and post the results? This will help us help you.

And to add to the shopping list - could you be a bit more specific as to the nasty stuff? Is it possible for you to post a pic of the sick fish? No symptoms/changes in the others?
