Small schooling fish

how about some long fin red minor tetras.

small schooling fish don't go with bumblebee cats. they will eat anything under 2 inches. a 20G only has enough room for one BB cat full grown. you should return one or you will risk agression. it might be best to just get another centerpeice fish like a ram after you return one.

They are south american bumblebee catfish. They stay small, and are not aggressive towards other fish or themselves. They will only eat very small fish. They are good community fish.

If you can prove planet catfish wrong please do and I will reconsider my options.

oh, I thought you were reffering to asian BB cats. my mistake. you don't need to get aggressive about it. I still don't trust that size counter. i've seen SA BB cats at 4" before. I stil wouldn't trust them with anything under 1 1/2 inches.
