Mine is just a little guy now with no aggression issues YET! I'm just wondering for those of you that have kept them what tank mates have you had in with them? Thanks.

I have been recently looking into adding a green terror to my tank, I have 1 Oscar, 4 Gourami's (3 lg and 1 Small), 3 Cory cats, 1 Palypama, 1 Pleco, 1 little guy who I think is a tetra of some sort, and a 100 gallon tank, lots of room for more fish, please let me know what you learn from your experiance with your green terror.

Will do. Sounds to me like you have an interesting mix of large and small fish in your tank. I'm surprised yout Oscar hasn't made a meal out of some of them. How big is he/she?
My GT is on my avitor. He was quite agressive when he was yunger. He out ate and out grew my jacks, Tx Cichlid and the convict. they all started out bigger then him he was the last addition to that tank.
He now is about 8 or 9 inches and just recently stopped eating feeders. He is a gentel fish. He likes to chase the others around so they know he is boss but thats about it. He is a bigger eater and still hogs all the food.
I could see a GT eat Gouramis or tetras when they have the taste for live food. I am suprised you oscar hasn't thought about it.
Oh my GT gets along just fine with Jack Dempseys, Tx Cichlids and convicts. You need to have a large tank or all bets are off. He hates my Electric Blue Jack Dempsey. In fact I have never seen him want to kill something that bad. That was a shame I always thought it would have been such a bueatful tank putting those 2 together.

Thanks for the info. Mine is doing fine now and I don't feed live foods. I'm thinking my other fish should be able to fend for themselves. Hopefully.

My Oscar is about 3 in., and my Gourami's are about 2 1/2 in. in size, I just got the Oscar about 6 months ago and he was only about the size of a half dollar when I got him, He doesn't bug the others to much.... more or less the kissing gourami's bug him I think.... I wish that I could post a pic of my tanks online but I haven't gotten that smart with computers yet, LOL!

the goldsaum GTs have it at a yung age. Mine has always had it since I got him as a juv
