I have
6x neons
1x sunburst dwarf platty
1x african Dwarf Frog
1x otto
I would one of these guys to complete my aquarium and be the last fish i get for it. I am forced to orderi t online because i cant find any with the pretty irredecent colors that i want locally.

Yes it would be too much IMO. I would get your otto a buddy or 2 (they are better off with some of thier own kind) and call it stocked.

http://www.liveaquaria.com/product/prod_Display.cfm?pCatId=974You probably read this sentence in the product description:
"Due to variations within each species, your aquatic life may not look identical to the image provided."
Which means that your ordered fish might not look like you want it to look, either.

yea i read that. But what im saying is. None of my local fish places have any that even resemble that one. All of them are all red. or all blue. None with pale/orange skin and blue irredence.

Many times I have gotten fish with little color at an LFS, fed them well, kept them in pristine conditions, and they color up very nice. I still wouldnt recomend them in your tnk though. ( I tend to err on understocking)

oto's neeed to be kept in groups they are a schooling fish.
I'd recomend a http://www.liveaquaria.com/product/prod_display.cfm?pcatid=992&N=0
instead they stay a bit smaller I believe they are also more peaceful. Still sounds like you may be overstocked...Their throats turn deed blue sometimes (when ready to mate) and their top fins turn bright neon like yellow.

I don't think that picture is very representative of their true color - the colors look too pale and washed out from camera flash or lighting. Try a google search for better pictures of them. They really look more like this in person:

It sounds like all you have local are the flame dwarf and blue dwarf varieties.
And yes, adding one would put you in the overstocked category.
