do you think a convict, parrot fish, and a brichir would all get along in the same tank? I was thinking the brichir would go crazy with these two cichlids in the tank but they are all the same small size, and with the birchir I cold get a larger one (6 inches) or I could get a smaller one (4 inches) whould it make a difference? please reply-

I personally wouldn't put anything else in with a pair of convicts. They breed like crazy and are very territorial and aggressive, especially when they're breeding.

SIGH... if this is your 30g question again.. as i've said a million times, you cannot have a blood parrot, or a bichir,or anything over 8 inches for that matter in a 30G tank. you'd be best off with a pair of convicts.

yep! its starting to get old....

Parrot fish are not freshwater. If you are thinking blood parrots, or even parrot cichlids, niether will be OK in a 30 gallon. Im not into birchirs, but understand they too will outgrow a 30. as suguested, this size tank would be nice for a pair of breeding cons(and nothing else) or perhaps the convict and some good sized dithers.
