I came home from work the other day (24 hrs.) and i found these tiny white specs all over my 29 gallon community. They almost looked like oscar eggs but they were alive and swimming. I turned on the lamp and they all scurried down to the bottom. At first I thought that they were dieing but They are still alive and well. They hang out around my tree root and corneres as well as burried in my gravel. What are they and how do I get rid of them. Sorry I don't have a digital camera and can't provide pics....Please help!!!!!!!!!

They look somewhat like lice. I have kept it clean and not fed too much or live food just flakes.

Could it be some sort of hydra?
Maybe you could get some and bring it to the LFS to see if anyone there knows what it is.
