what corals can i use in a 10 gallon reef tank? This is my first sw tank, so they can't be too difficult to keep, also, what kind of lighting will i need and how many watts?

Yes, mushrooms are poyfect! Polyps would be good too! Neither need a lot of light...a small power compact unit will give you flexibility for other corals down the road....

60 bucks for mushrooms?! geez sw is expensive. o well, ill save a little more and get em. How many watts of lighting would qualify as low to medium light?

as I said, NM, two flourescent tubes should be all you need.

i saw u were gonna get an ocellaris clown, whats the advantage of this to a common clown, or do you just like them better? i was thinking of getting a common, would that be cheaper?

Ocellaris are usually tank raised, cheaper than other clowns, very hardy, do well in smaller tanks and can be kept in groups with minimal problems

Ocellaris' are common clowns. :)

Zoanthids, polyps, and shrooms are all good choices. I have two 20-watt power compact fluerescents (sp?) on my 10. They cost about $11 each.

what are zoanthids and polyps? and what else could i keep with this common clown, or could i get a cherub angelfish?
