Can someone tell me where I can purchase the LaMotte potassium test kit, 3138 KIW, from an on-line vendor?
Thanks!
Can you give us a reason why a LaMotte K kit?
First of all, they are expensive. Also, K is an element that is least likely of the macros to be tested for, due to the fact that it is difficult to over dose.
LaMotte is probably the most accurate of the kits around, but kind of expensive for a kit that may be unnecessary. That's why I wanted to know your reason for buying one.

I'm just the curious type, and, I don't mind spending a few extra bucks for the best. I already own 3 other Lamotte test kits.

I hear ya! I'm an inquisitive individual, as well, especially when it comes to my aquaria. I say go for it!

Your local water authority will be able to tell you exaclty how much potassium is in your tapwater. Any additional K you dose can easily be calculated.
If you're dead set on getting the test kit it would be interesting to see how accurate it is compared to your water supply.

I've contacted Clarksonlab about purchasing the kit, I'll post the results of my testing after I get it. Thanks all for your advice and help!
