HEre is a picture of my small lowerhorn.
Currently about 4 inches. Very agressive, wasnt shy of his new surroundings. (Bought it on April 1st) Costed me ONLY $9.99.

Gordeez: please keep us posted with pictures of your Flowerhorn as it grows up. It could prove to be an interesting documentary.

My personal belief is that Flowerhorns are hybrids which do not breed true, but must be constantly replenished by a re-crossing of the source species. These crosses are, however, mostly fertile.

That means that lots of people with Flowerhorns are breeding them back to each other thinking that what they will get is more pure Flowerhorns. They are then marketing them to LFS's as such. In fact, however, what they are getting is a random mix of traits from the various parent species.

I think that your "Flowerhorn" is one of these (mostly because of the low price). However, if what you wound up with is mostly Trimac, then you still got a pretty good deal.

Anyway, only more pictures will tell. I look forward to future photos (as I would anyway, because you're a good photographer).
