Here is my small trimac, also purchaed April 1st with my Flowerhorn, both are ina 40gl till friday (PAyday :)

looks like another FH to me. too much coloration in the fins to be a trimac.

TTman, you mean a Trimac's fins should have a simple pattern like this

exactly, relatively colorless. now I have seen some trimacs that do exhibit color in their finnage, but those are rare. but most will have same color fins as body. a young trimac looking fish w/a lot of red/orange/yellow on their body is most likely a FH. :D

Yup that is a trimac from TangledupinCichlids. They do have alot of bright colors like the FH but I would still go with a Trimac then a FH.

I think it's a flowerhorn
trimacs are kinda hard to find now a days due to the growing popularity of FH
