I have 3 Pearl Guaramis that have been doing extremely well and seemed to have grown a good bit since I got them. Recently while noticing some bumps on my neon tetras (in another thread), I noticed some pinkish fleshy looking spots on 2 of my Pearl Guaramis, as shown in the picture.
I think I am going to try to put the neons in a quarantine tank, even though they act fine and are colored fine. But that means I have no tank to QT the guaramis.
Does any think they know what this might be? and what I can do?
Just did a quick 5-n-1 test and water is currently: NitrAte ~45ppm, NitrIte 0ppm, GH ~150ppm, KH~130ppm, PH ~7.2.
(I am actually very very happy with these numbers, because my tap here, which was used initially in this 50G, is extremely hard and alkaline.. literally off the chart of the 5-n-1 kits. I have seperate kits I had to use to check it before I switched to 1/2+ RO at water changes.)
