Do wild cat fish survive very cold winters? Or do they migrate?

They just burrow down into the mud and chill (ha!). On warmer days they may be active and eating. Of course, tropical species don't do so well when transplanted to cold environs. There are no pictus cats living in the lakes of Minnesota right now.
