View Full Version : New Fish Ideas ??

I haven't added any fish in a long time and I'm looking for ideas to spice up my tank a little bit if possible. I have a 55 gallon tank with 1 Festivum, 1 Green Severum, 1 Blue Acara, a bristlenose pleco and a couple small cories.
The tank is pretty peaceful and I'd like to keep it that way if possible. The Festivum and the Blue Acara will have a "staredown" occassionaly, but nothing that looks too serious.
Any input is appreciated!

I think your stock is at max levels as it is now. JMO.

i agree. things are peaceful and your tank is able to handle the bioload. don't overdo it.
another tank perhaps!??!? hehe.

Ya i would also leave the tank as it is at this point. Your most likely about maxed out on bio load. But as stated this is a great reason to get a case of MTS (multiple tank syndrome)

That's what I was afraid of. The severum is a year old and quite small, I had expected it to get larger than it has so far. I may add a couple cories, I only have two in there and they look lonely! No way I'm going to be able to sell the wife on the need for the extra tank at this point, too many projects going on already!
