GE silicone

I think it's the "Silicone II", which says "100% silicone sealant clear".

G.E. type1 100% silicone it does not contain mold and mildew inhiitors

i was just at the hardware store, both type I and II say clearly on the back
"not for temperatures above 400*, surfaces in contact with food, or aquarium use....

if there is one that is safe for aquariums, home depot didnt have it

The only reason they have that warning on the tube is so they are not liable for any accidents that may occur if used for aquariums. If you do a quick search you'll see that many people have used the GE silicone without a problem.

^I thought they took that off, because they also make other silicones that says AQUARIUM USE in big words, and sold for twice the price?

I've used the GE silicone 1 with no problems. The Dow Corning 100% silicone is safe to use also and is as cheap as the GE at certain hardware stores.
