When I first put this plant in my tank it was all green. Now the bottoms of the leaves are turning red and roots are shooting off of the plant like crazy. My question is will the tops of the leaves eventually turn red also?

Yes, once they get closer to the light. mine are 18" tall and the top leaves are almost 2" and all red. stalks too.

mine did, then they started turning green again from algae :(

Red ludwigia also benefits from iron supplementation for the red-ness to come out. If you use Flourish for micronutrients, that should be good enough :)
