just got a juvie midas and put him in a 55 gal for to grow out i want to put my convict in with him ok heres the question the convict had fry about a month ago and the male died (wouldnt eat) i think there big enough to fend for themself. Am i asking for trouble or what shes pretty mean and the midas is about 2 inches should i wait a little longer ??

One way to find out. Try it and see just keep a close eye on them. If one of them starts to bully the other than you will have to seperate them. You could also just buy a tank divider and not have to worry about it.

Eventually the midas might tear the convict up, but for now I bet they'll be ok together.

Actually, the convict may push the other around initially but the devil will catch up soon enough. Should be enough room, especially if there are sparate hiding spots.
