I was looking at your website and I love your tanks. I especailly like your 5 gallon. What plant is it that is growing out of the water? This looks like something I could try out on my desk. :)

hi chuck,

the plant is commonly known as "lucky bamboo". i've done a quick search online and found that there is actually a domain of it, seems like a commerce site, www.luckybamboo.com (http://www.luckybamboo.com/). it's got some info there. but to get the plant, just check out any asian mall--it's everywhere. well, at least at the areas around the bay area where i live. i've also seen these being sold in local fish shops also, so you might want to check them out.

i find the plant to be very low maintenace, grows steadily, and quite attractive. i don't really dig those fancy "bent" ones though. :p hope this helps.
