my girlfriends dad has expressed intrest in the fish that i have got in my aquarium (apart from bob the paradise fish) so that will mean that he will be taking on 2 broze corries and a female marigold swordtail. so, my question is, what to restock with? i have to admit, that i am a fan of small fish, especially guppies. but, i also love bettas, especially the blood red coloured ones. my tank is 7.5 gallons. i also quite like the idea of breeding my guppies, as i have done so in the past. i also like brightly coloured fish aswell, as i feel that this makes my aquarium look more atractive, and with little fish, it makes my tank look lived in if you know what i mean :p:

i should also mention that my paradise fish is being returned to my lsf tomorrow

After you return your paradise fish and the cories are out of there you could try a small school of cardinals. They are colorful and small enough to fit the bill for the size tank that you have.

Harlequin Rasboras would work too. Small and colorful, good activity level.

The fish I am referring to are called freshwater cardinals and they look very simuliar to the neon tetra. They are often confused with the neons as they are both in the tetra family. They only grow to about two inches and are tight schoolers. The scientific name is PARACHEIRODON AXELRODI. I think you will find them to be quite beautiful and fun to watch.
