I had to say #2. the others were great, but I tend to lean to the more scary things at halloween. Its fright night, not dress up as a cute little princess or funny clown night. It always buggs me to see non-scary costumes.
I voted I'll never tell for who though.

I say #1. I really appreciate the pic of the kitty because you can see how much it truly resembles the cat!
2 and 3 are good for their intricacy. I know those little details must have been a pain to carve. But I have to say #1 is my fave :)

Hey, that's EXACTLY what I was just telling my cat!!! (Great minds think alike.) I showed Nightmare Before Christmas to my Sculpture class Thurs/Fri as they are planning "Whimsical Creatures" for their group papier mache sculptures!!

I voted for #3, though I would have voted for number 1, but I was freaked out by the cat in the fish tank. It just seems so overstocked that way.

I had to go with #3, but it was a tough call... The poll wouldn't let me choose "all of the above".

LMAO!!! I didn't even realize the kitty was IN the tank until you said that! It just looked like she was sitting in front of the tank :sim:

Too late for voting, but i'm going to toss mine out there anyways!
Bonus points for those who figure out exactly what fish it is! And more bonus points to those who guess what anatomical feature the fish is missing! sorry for the blurry pics

Darn, didn't get my entry in in time. I made a puking pumpkin that I saw on a site. You take all the insides of the pumpkin and the seeds and make it coming out the mouth. Its great. :)
My favorites were numbers 1 and 2.
Asian Arowna missing the second set from the front of fins (ventral fins)

i carved BOO into the back backwards... i wish i spent more time on it, you really can sculpt alot of depth into it if you want to, not just cuting out holes...
