Fish dont like new plants?

Hello everyone. I recently (2 days ago) put some anacharis in my tank and no one seems to go around it. I planted it on one half of my 55 gallon. The other half has a rock structure. All the fish stay on the half with the rock structure now. Im keeping tetras, clown loaches, and rainbowfish. Is this normal?

Did you wash the plant before you put it in? The only thing I can think of is that the plant might be leeching something. I'd jsut wait and see what happens.
