Well, I think I am done fiddling with my tank for a while (yeah, right!) but this is the latest version. I got rid of the airstones in my UGF and now just use powerheads and my canister. Also, I finally found some more black ruby barbs (hard to find around here). Let me kow what you think.

In this one you can see the powerheads mostly covered by the fake plants.

Whoops! The first one is before I made those changes. Sorry!

Looking good! The color balance is natural and I'd say that is as good as it gets without using real plants (aside from the java fern)!

tank looks good, how long is the tank?

nice driftwood you got there, i was wondering the same what the dimension of your tank?

very nice, but why the fake plants? it seems that you have enough wood and light to at least grow anubias...

Thanks! This is a standard 125 gallon tank so it is 6 feet long. I have just recently added the Java ferns in the last couple of months. I may try to go to more live plants but thuis may take a while. I really enjoy watching the barbs cruise through the entire tank. The driftwood is nic because it forms 2 "caves" that the fish can go into when they feel bothered and because the cory have plenty of shelter as well.

I am so envious of your tank! It's really gorgeous.
