Maybe it would look better if you could buy a plastic belly-up goldfish to float in the tank. The symbolism of that would be nice.

well, didnt someone here have a simmilar idea but with a school instead of an office?(but in a 10 gal) The tank in the article is only 1 gallon, but we've gone over this one before. Options for that tank are limited, but not alltogether absent. Could be great for breeding snails to feed my DP, or a betta if one was dilligent in its care.

I see tanks for sale without a heater or filter all the time. I bought a 1 gallon (snail tank) that had neither, I had to get those separately.

I do that too! Another one that's great is to blow up balloons and pop 'em! When you blow into them, it's like you're exhaling all your frustration. And then the pop is therapeutic for the sound :D

Sure 2 goldfish is a bad thing. But a small heater can be purchased for that tank, and you can rig up an UGF(you could even run the tubing through the file cabinet to hide it somewhat). Cute little home for a betta, snails, or a small group of shrimp (ghosts, amanos, etc.). Id go so far to try a trio of least killis in there.
