I'm loving this tank and would like to add some smaller fish to my tank to add to the movement in it. This would probably be a year or so down the line cause I would wait until the Bala(he's quite old) was gone before adding anything to the bioload. So anyway I was wondering what type of fish could be added that wouldn't be a quick snack for a Chocolate or a GT. Any thoughts?

PS - I was inspired by this vid. lol

Some quick recomendations would be Salvini, Convicts, Port Acara's, Firemouths, and depending on how nasty the GT is Keyhole's, Rainbow Cichlid's, Apisto's, Festivum. Just a few of the smaller new world cichlids that could probably work out in your tank. Even with the bala gone you would still be fully stocked with those three Tin Foil barbs. Ever think about seeing if your LFS will take them for credit? Another thing you may want to consider is a bit more filtration on that tank.

They are Silver Dollars not Tin Foils. I also run a powerhead but yes when the Chocolate and GT get bigger I'm going to add another 1500.
