I've heard that skunk cleaner shrimp remove parasites and dead skin from fish, so I'm thinking about getting one. However, I am unsure if one would actually be of any use to my fish. In the pictures (and nature shows) I've seen, cleaner shrimp are always working on fish much larger than themselves. Will they clean small fish such as a royal gramma, false percula clown, or reef chromis?

Our 3 cleaner shrimp work on our lawnmower blenny, but our false percs are completely uninterested in the cleaner shrimp and won't the shrimp anywhere near them.

I have 2 skunk cleaners that are constantly clinging onto my yellow tang. He doesn't seem to mind unless they get near his mouth. I haven't seem them cleaning anything else. They are quite tame and fun to watch. If you stick your hands down to thier station they will even clean your fingers for you.

My Coral Beauty and Tang make stops at the cleaning station, but they are the only ones. They are fun to watch. I have a full grown one, and it's cool to watch his antennas fly all over the place when I feed.

Thanks for the replies Judging from what you've all said, it seems that cleaner shrimp generally work with fish bigger than the ones I mentioned before.
