My Jag is always hiding?? During the day I can't seem to find him, his tank mates are always together swimming like boosem buddies..But when it's time to feed my Jag is the first one out, is it because I have 3 of them in my tank and the 2 others have paired up as pals? Why is my Jag a loner? He is about the same size as his mates but seems happy hiding out while the others swim around playing. Should I get another fish to be his pal? Or is this typical behavior for Jags.

I have all males in my 90 gallon tank.

I appreciate all your input on this guys.

Pretty typical behavior, but watch out when he gets bigger:) He'll be begging for attention.

well from what I see so far he is a wimp! I really hope he begins to socialize with his mates, I was thinking of adding a friend for him? Do you all think I should. I was thinking a gt

I would leave him right now, he should be alright.

are these guys usually timid when smaller then get bad as they mature? Anyone have one that has experience-I like him the most and want to make him as happy/comfortable as possible :)

they will hide when they are young, because they are food at that size. Once they bulk up they'll come out and be much less timid (generally)
