Hey all, this morning I found one German ram and a balloon ram guarding what looks like eggs in the corner of my community tank. They are hanging out together without posturing and chasing each other, but won't let any fish come close to the area either. i thought they were both males but maybe I was wrong here are some pics:

Hope they are not too big, any advice o helping theses guys out?

Thanks,

Hmm no edit button so I had to add another post, my paradise fish was building a bubble nest yesterday in the area above, which i broke up, it may be their eggs but i'm sure they weren't there last night?

Hi,

They are breeding! Those look like cichlid eggs, not paradise fish eggs.

Congrats!

yep, they are breeding. it might be best to raise the fry in a separate aquarium once they hatch.

Eggs - they might eat them, don't get your hopes up. BTW, that bright pink tummy you see is the female. I'd do a google search on rearing ram fry before they hatch...
