box fish?

while at the fish shop the other day i saw what was called a "box fish" he was a little yellow square with black dots on him, now i have never heard of these before (i admit that it took a few seconds of close stares to convince me it was real :rolleyes: ) what are these awesome looking fish?? any info would be appreciated
 
well, they are sensitive fish that demand PERFECT water quality, are in no way reef safe,some can get to 20" long, and if stressed or dead, release a toxin into the water that can kill other reef inhabitants. if that doesn't deter you, then go for it. as you can see, they are not the easiest of SW fish to care for. best left in the wild IMHO. there are several different types avalible, but the most common is the cowfish. what does it look like?

square or round? sounds like a hovercraft or some such to me...
 
sorry bout the vauge discription :rolleyes: it was a square little guy..... i went back today to have a look at him again, but he was gone .....he was so small you could hardly see his fins...very surreal looking :)
