I figured that you wouldn't have a problem with it! However, we do need to make this a little bit bottom-dweller-related:
"Catfish are cool..."
Hijack away!

her you go then, would a SA RTC go in with a NA flathead, or would it grow too fast and try to eat it?

Moot point - give them both to GER1023's stepdad - he'll take care of them both!

Seriously speaking...one will kill the other unless you have a public aquarium sized tank. Could one eat the other? Quite possibly...they both have huge mouths.
Hopefully you don't decide to try this, as none of the tanks listed on your profile would house either of those fish.
Trust me, I like big fish, too, but I cannot afford to house those two in particular. If you can afford to do so, be my guest!!!

What tank would you put them in? I hope not the 125! That is way overstocked as it is now. How does the water test out of curiosity?

I'll bet it tests positive for pleco poop, and lots of it!! If only the stuff could be dried out and braided into hair extensions ;)
Don't mind me - I used to play left field, and I'm still out there.

I wonder if red/auburn would take?? I hate having multi-colored hair - I'm too old for that:D

my water tests come out to 0 ppm on ammonia, 0 ppm on nitrite, and 0 ppm on nitrate. been meaning to thin the tank out a little, when i moved, i had to put all of my fish out of both my tanks into the 125. had the oscars and one large pleco and one small pleco and the shovelnose in the 125, and the other plecos, the unidentified pim cat, the spotted rapheal and 4 tinfoil barbs in the 135. my five year old decided to feed my tinfoils a fudge round one night while i was at work, and three of the tinfoils died. they were all 15". we had a little talk about that. i want to keep the oscars and the shovelnose and two of the plecos in the 125 and get a bigger tank for the flathead that i bought under the name "olivaris cat" from my LFS, and they told me it was full grown. LOL, not even close.
