Are Dward Gouramis peacfull in a community tank?should i get a RED or BLUE of so they are nice and not chasing?

yes they are peaceful, no they probably wont do well in an amazon based tank, and may not get along well with the angel (i dont know which one would be the agressor)

anyway, it looks like the last thing that you need is another type of fish in your 55, you should get rid of some of your schooling fish that are just one or two in number, and fill out the others to around 6 fish...

They're a slight gamble but more often than not, very easy to incorporate in a community aquarium.

Aside from their individual temperment, the main issue is the other inhabitants. as long as there are no other labyrinth fish or slightly aggressive larger fish like angels, all should be well.

you should get rid of all the teras exept for one species you like, the cherry barb(I may be mistaken)likes to be in groups to so you should find him/her a new home.then maby add a few more khuli loaches(they like to be in groups).do your peppered cories schoool with the albino cories?if they dont than you could get rid of one species and buy a few more of the species your going to keep.
so you stocking would be,
8-10 of any of the tetras
3 khuli loaches
1 angel
1 dwarf platy
1 black up side down catfish
7 cories (peppered or albino)

HTH :)

It's funny, I have a dwarf with 2 female bettas and they form a little school together. It's cute.

awww

I have a red /flame (what ever you call them) gourami and he is generally piece, occasionall he does snap but nothing life threating i think he just has mood swings like me!

I used to have 2 flames before converting the tank into a DP tank and they were great fish. Never had any fights between them and the Blue Gourami or the guppies.

Why don't you take some of the advise people have been giving you for a while now and fix your schools first?

Your Stock:
1 Angel Fish
5 Neon Tetras
4 Lamp Eye Tetras
2 Glow Light Tetras
1 Cherry Barb
1 Dwarf Platy
1 Black Upside Down Catfish
5 Albino Cory
2 Peppered Cory
1 Kuhli Loach

Neons need 6 MINIMUM
Lamp eyes need 6 MINIMUM
Glowlights need 6 MINIMUM
Cherry barbs need 6 MINIMUM
kuhlis need 3 MINIMUM

Also:
Angelfish eat neons, they are their primary food scource in the wild.

IMO, you have some serious stocking issues to deal with before you go adding any other fish.
