I just noticed this today on one of our Mollies. The spots seem bigger than ich, Is it a fungus or velvet or something? I cant really treat it until I know what it is. Im having trouble getting a real good pic of it but heres one.

I treated it with medicated food for flexibacter thinking it was black molly disease. It got better then worse than better again but eventually passed away when it looked like it was almost cured 
I had just bought ich medicine about 2 hours before it died that I was going to start treating it with that night which was unfortunate, it was a very nice looking black lyretail. No other fish in the tank has shown any signs whatsoever that they got what she had which makes me question if it was infact ich. The spots were not small salt grain like spots. Larger white spots that were not cottony like fungus so It was somewhat hard to figure out what it was.
