Is it best to leave it in the bunch it came in? Or is it better to separate each individual plant?
separate each stalk like 1cm apart. it doesnt so much grow outward as it does up. so its better to plant it denser.

When i had it in my 15g i kept it in a bunch.....key words are "when i had it" i do not have a large amount of gravel in my 15g and it all kept coming out till i threw it out because it was so much trouble....but keeping plants in bunchs always gives u a "natural" and "forest" look so i would go with keeping it in a bunch!

It seems to work either way. If you've got a lot of it, bunches of 3 or 4 stems is a good compromise.
