Can Tanks bust?

Can a tank bust after a long time or bad support cause i got a stand but in the bottom of the stand the middle is open so i can see the bottom of my tank?

Yes tanks can bust. Alot of larger tank stands are constructed that way because the bottom piece of glass is tempered.
So what size is your tank and is it tempered glass? Also was this a stand you made your self or one that you purchased with the tank?

i got a 55 gal tank and no i didnt make the stand the tank stand looks like this

Glass tanks will be ok in that kind of a stand but not acrylic tanks. Acrylic tanks need their whole bottom supported.

You'll be fine... especially if it's a premanufactured stand.

just remember , if you need to shim to level the tank..shim the legs of the stand not the bottom of tank in the stand.

I have a stand thats similar to that. I didn't like that it was open so I cut some plywood, painted it to match and set that on the stand, then the tank. It just made me feel better.
