:dive2: Hi guys and girls are any of you familiar with the water conditioning treatment called organics, it supposedly revs up the nitrogen cycle and further more you dont require skimming off proteins?? ( exept for proper reef setups offcause )
 
Somehow, just somehow, I don't understand how people buy into these products... How is adding something to your tank gonna remove something from your tank? It doesn't. It may convert x into y, but you still have those substances in your aquarium, just in a different form. Regardless of what you add to your aquarium you need some form of nutrient removal, not more nutrient conversion (other than ammonia to nitrite, nitrite to nitrate and nitrate to nitrogen gas).
 
I must say, that sound like a good brakedown although by introducing organics into your newly set-up aquirium you are adding usefull bacteria.
