Is it idiotic to name your fish? I just think that marines are one of the most fasinating specimens of this world. thus i feel it worth while to personalize them. :dive2:
 
no way! i love to name my fish!
 
Cool its settled then, im not an idiot, yet.... I feel much more attached when doing so.
 
no kidding. when you dont name your fish, its liek they dont even MEAN anything!
 
It kinda stinks if you have a huge school of something. I can't tell the difference. But I do name my fish.
 
Good lord, i think naming your fish is quite sad, i half suspect you guys have a viewing platform in front of your tanks where you sit with a bag of chips and a soda ,whilst wearing your aquarium viewing attire. 'oh look out there's peter hes a great guy, watch out for marvin he likes to hide'.
Dont see a reason myself, i love the hobby i just find pointing and educating my guests with the real names of the fish more helpful. But by all means name away and please name one of your chaps after myself please 'no abuse lol'.
