Hi all, wondering if anyone can help me....I bought my first marine fish from my LFS about 6 weeks ago. It was a slender bright pinkish small fish with a yellow stripe down its back. They said it was a type of damsel. It was very shy and basically starved itself to death in about 4 weeks. I think it had trouble competeing with the other fish I bought. One was a blue damsel (which i'm pretty sure is a blue damsel) the other was a "Bow-tie Damsel". I haven't been able to find a bowtie damsel anywhere online....is there such a thing??

after searching for a "pink damsel" here are a few that i found;
in order the first is a "Chrysiptera rex"

second is the "Neoglyphidodon crossi"

thrird is the "Pomacentrus moluccensis"

these were some of the searches for a pinkish damsel or the like, here was the main link:http://www.animal-graphics.com/saltd-e.htm

here was the first result for the "bow tie damsel" (fourth picture.)

Hope this Helps!

Good Luck,
Wolf.
